Digitall

Digitall is a mentoring scheme running in London, matching 18-25 year old internet savvy volunteers (mentors) with over 45s (mentees) who want to get to grips with online (or digital) technology. Mentors and mentees meet one-to-one for an hour a week for between 6-12 weeks to unlock the Internet. This might include accessing online services, emailing, exploring social networks and using technology to search for job opportunities.

Young TimeBank

Young TimeBank inspires and empowers young people to take action in their communities, on their own terms, based upon their own concerns and ambitions. We provide the resources and support to help young people address issues that are important to them through school and community projects. These projects give young people opportunities to take control of issues that affect them and address them constructively, as well as enhancing their sense of self-worth, as individuals and as members of their communities.

Back to Life

Back to Life is a near-to-peer mentoring scheme to support young men recovering from mental health problems, helping them to reach their full potential.Someone recovering from a mental illness may not have the support they need to regain their confidence and get on with their life. A trained volunteer mentor can give friendly and neutral advice in focusing on goals and taking steps to achieve them.

Samaritans - Extreme Listening

Are you a good listener? Samaritans gives individuals confidential support, 24 hours a day. Samaritan volunteers receive extensive training and are given the opportunity to develop their communications skills, which often proves helpful in many other aspects of their personal and professional lives.
